He married Barbara Emma Knoelke in Bryant, Jay, Indiana, August 6, 1904. (Barbara Emma Knoelke is #5.) Barbara was born in Bryant, Jay, Indiana March 17, 1883. Barbara was the daughter of Carl Henry Frederick Knoelke and Martha Elizabeth Adams. Barbara died June 28, 1961 in Ft. Wayne, Allen, Indiana, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Gravel Hill, Jay, Indiana. !MISC: In 1913, from April to Nov., Bert and Emma were in Idaho with Henry Harrison Garlinger. They had traveled by train to Chucago and t hen to Boise. They had a little white fox terrier named Trix that got lost a long the way in Pocatello, Idaho. Emma was homesick for Indiana and pregn ant with Carl. They only stayed aout 7 months.
