He married twice. He married Mary S. Rodgers in Indiana, 17 June 1908. Mary was born 1891. Mary was the daughter of Thomas William Rodgers and Miriam "Ella" Cadwallader. Mary died December 1936 at 45 years of age. Her body was interred in Snow Hill, Randolph, Indiana. He married Helen Lucille Myers in Kokomo, Howard, Indiana, 19 February 1937. Helen was born 9 April 1919. Helen was the daughter of Eugene F. Myers and Vera Jane Beaktell.
