The
first record of the appearance of Joseph Eisenhour at Jericho Friends
is that of his marriage. He married Rachel Fry, daughter of Amos Fry
and Hannah Buckingham on Sept 25, 1856. They were the parents of John
and Henry and Hannah Emmiline Eisenhour. Joseph acquired his first land
in 1874 in S6 T19M R15E. He died March 20, 1904 and she Oct 30, 1911.
Both are buried at Jericho Cemetery despite the fact the he never
affiliated with the Meeting and, in fact, was rated as something of an
agnostic.
