This Web Page is devoted to the Eisenhour Family. Hans Nicholas Eisenhour
came to America in 1741 aboard the ship Europa during the Palatine Emigration.
He came from Oldenwald in the Pfalz down the Rhine to Holland. The Europa
sailed from Rottrdam in mid-August and arrived November 1741 in Lewes,
at the mouth of the Delaware River in Delaware. The ship's passengers were
transferred by small boat to Philadelphia and arrived November 17, 1741.
Hans settled in Bethel Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Bethel Twp. is
in present-day Lebanon, County.
